Hematuria is defined as the presence of red blood cells in the urine. However, note that there is no immediate risk of bleeding to death.
There are two types of hematuria. Macroscopic or “gross” hematuria can be recognized by the red urine it causes. But three stages need to be mentioned: initial hematuria, which refers to the presence of blood at the beginning of the urinary stream, total hematuria, which describes the occurrence of bloody urine throughout the entire urinary system and terminal hematuria, which pertains to blood that occurs at the end of the urinary stream.
The second type is microscopic hematuria, which requires a screening in order to find traces of blood Indeed, the naked eye is unable to detect the presence of blood in the urine. The cause of bleeding can be one element of the urinary system, including the bladder or kidney.
The presence of blood in the urine is a serious indication that needs to be taken into consideration, even though certain physiological and pathological conditions sometimes cause the urine to turn red. Experiencing pain while urinating can also be a symptom of hematuria. It is recommended to seek medical attention from the moment one detects the presence of blood in the urine and a darkening of its colour.
All forms of hematuria can be treated with Terbinthina (100%). Use Erigeron Canadense (80%) for bladder hematuria and Erigeron canadense (60%) for renal hematuria. As for inflammatory hematuria, take Cantharis (80%), whereas renal hematuria can be cured with Gossypium herbeceum (60%).
Erigeron canadensis 4 to 9 CH can be taken depending on the symptoms and various manifestations of hematuria. In case of renal colic that causes pain in the glans, groin and thighs, take Pereira brava.
In case of itching of the meatus, red-coloured urinary sediment or bladder catarrh with tenesmus, take 3 granules of Cocus cacti 5 CH three times a day. The presence of sand or small stones in the urine, as well as pain that occurs toward the end of micturation, can all be treated by taking 3 granules of Sarsaparilla 5 CH three times a day.
