Treating intestinal disorders and eye affections with Cambogia

Cambogia is a homoeopathic remedy made ??from Garcinia cambogia. Also known as Gambooge, Brindleberry, Brindall berry, or Malabar tamarind, this shrubby plant is native to South Asia. It grows primarily in India but it can also be found in Australia, tropical Africa and Polynesia. Its fruit are yellow and look like small pumpkins, and its bark is used to manufacture the homoeopathic remedy of the same name. It is mainly used in herbal medicine as a laxative, purgative and slimming product. However, Cambogia is not only used in gastroenterology. It can also treat some eye conditions.


Cambogia is a very effective homoeopathic remedy against intestinal problems. It is particularly recommended in case of colon inflammation or colitis, especially when the disease is accompanied by diarrhoea and/or flatulence. It is also recommended in case of rumbling sensations felt in the intestines. Cambogia even treats other colon diseases that result in persistent constipation. It also helps to speed up intestinal transit and has no side effects.


In ophthalmology, Cambogia is especially recommended in case of juvenile conjunctivitis,characterized by inflammation of the eye membrane. It is also used to treat itching and hypersensitivity caused by light and wind. For the treatment of other ophthalmological disorders, it is most often combined with similar homoeopathic remedies such as Euphrasia and Apis.

Recommended dosage in gastroenterology

To treat digestive disorders, including colon inflammation, use Cambogia 5 CH or 9 CH. As for the remedy’s dosage, it will depend on the symptoms and the disease’s severity and can therefore be prescribed by a homoeopath.

Recommended dosage in ophthalmology

In case a child has conjunctivitis, alleviate the itching sensation with 3 granules of Cambogia 5 CH, to be administered in the morning, afternoon and evening. To make the medication more effective, regularly clean the child’s eyes with physiological serum.
